Welcome to St. John's Nursery School
A hidden gem in the heart of West LA
We want kids to have a wonderful first school experience so they form a positive association with school for the rest of their lives. We provide a safe and loving environment, where children develop a love for learning and school through play.
We attend to the development of the
We support the children emotionally, socially, physically, intellectually and spiritually.
We believe in nurturing children's self-esteem so they can grow confident and secure; each child is given love and acceptance.
Our teachers craft a curriculum that supports
social-emotional development and child-centered learning.
Our teachers treat the children with kindness and respect. They provide the children with gentle guidance around how to play and share with others.
The children are exposed to a wide variety of activities, where they can get curious, explore, play, and engage in stimulating, hands-on experiences. From early math and literacy to yoga and gardening, the kids learn while having fun.
The school year runs from September 14th through June 16th. We also offer two five-week summer sessions for those families who would like to keep their children enrolled year-round.
For summer, tuition is $1,670/session for full-day and is $1,0492/session for half-day.

What Our Parents Say
“Our daughter attends St. John's Nursery School and absolutely loves it - as do we. The director Hanne is warm, kind, and extremely experienced. Our daughter's teachers are amazing.
The classrooms are impeccably clean and the playground is really nice with two play structures, a huge sand pit, and a track for tricycles (helmets required of course!).
I can't say enough good things about St. John's. My daughter has had a wonderful experience there and has learned so much."
